The comfy downstairs apartment is a few steps from the beach and the separate upstairs apartment provides an amazing view of the ocean. It is 10 minutes drive from Malindi airport and a few minutes from Malindi market and the shops and eateries of Malindi town. It is within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants including Baby Marrow, Coco Beach, Osteria and Rosada.
The space:
The cottage has a downstairs apartment with a large comfy veranda, front room with dining and seating area, equipped kitchen and double bedroom with private bathroom. The upstairs apartment has a separate entrance and boasts a large private balcony with a 180 view of the beach and ocean, an open living space with large sofas, and double bedroom area with private bathroom.
Guest access
Guests can book the whole cottage or may book the downstairs and upstairs apartments separately.
Other things to note:
The property is in a complex with 13 other houses.
The Swahili sofa beds offer additional guest space for children.
The kitchen has a 4 ring gas hob and microwave but no oven.
The upstairs veranda is not covered but progresses into the shade from midday (the sun rises over the ocean and sets behind the house).
